He was a member of the Illinois' math all-star team in the American Regions Math League (ARML) competing in the 2002 national competition in Iowa City. He came in 9th place in a national United States Chess Federation tournament in 2001 in Rockford, Illinois. In the 2002 National Panasonic Academic Bowl Tournament, Sean was on the 2nd place team. Sean was on the Top-16 Team Illinois in the 2002 National Science Bowl in Washington, D.C. Sean will be starting Law School in the fall at UC Hastings.
